How spendy is tunnel time for you guys?
And how much per jump for you guys? Here is't $25, I know many Europeans who come to the us to get their skydives in at a good discount! |

For them coming to the states it's cheaper, for us being here its roughly the same price. Maybe a bit more, I can't really remember the price difference but going from euro to dollar, definitely a better deal. It's roughly $1.36 depending on exchange rate to €1.00 (euro).

So what do you jump?
I jump an old school Talon 1 with an old school 7 cell Triathalon. Yeah old but...it works and i got it for a great price. The Tri only had 50 jumps when i got it. Recently a friend called me up and said if i wanted to buy his wing suit off of him. He had done work for Tony of Tony Suits and got paid in of all things wing suit! But my friend has a thing for swooping and doesn’t care about wing suits. If it fits I may just take it off his hands for a very low price. ps if anyone here in NJ or NY wants to make a jump, it's about $200. Please watch the weather channel to make sure the weather is nice and not too windy. Come out jump you will either love it or never do it again. |

Roughly that price. Between 25 and 30, I really can't remember right now.

AAD SERVICE BULLETIN:
Airtec GmbH & Co., maker of the CYPRES 2 automatic activation device, released a service bulletin dated January 31, 2013, that pertains to all CYPRES AADs manufactured from February 2009 through December 2012. Service Bulletin 31012013 instructs all CYPRES 2 users, after the unit is switched on, to check the unit before each jump by pressing the control unit push button one time and watching for the red LED light to flash to ensure the unit is functioning properly. If the LED light does not flash, the user should not jump with the unit, since, as Airtec states, "It is not in a safe working condition, and the unit will not function as intended on a jump." Airtec reports that it "has become aware of a small number of CYPRES 2 units becoming 'non-responsive.' Although the subject units indicated a '0' (or the selected DZ setting) on the display, they were no longer operating." Additional details can be found in the service bulletin. |

That pic was taken in the US. Only shortly after exiting the plane though. My buddy who was with me was doing backflips on exit with his tandem master.
And as far as my experience, I'll be back, I know I will.

YOU DID 4 tandems?
WOW! Well for AFF (accelerated Free Fall) all you need is 3 tandems before you can start your coached jumps! You were almost there! http://www.affschool.com/8_levels.cfm It's not difficult sport / hobby to learn. It is just freaking expensive as all hell....and...to get good...you have to do lots of jumps...so...money.... |

I know it's stilly but I love the sport.
Yes I enjoy rock climbing and I do enjoy yoga and when my bike is running...I love riding the bike...but Skydiving....it's a borderline way of life/ religion. It's hard to explain. And I find myself saying sorry more than once since I just can't stop talking about how much I love the sport and how i want everyone i meet to give it a shot. |
