The S series cars are not family sedans...

Mine serves as a family truckster. We also have an FX35 but that's only a tiny bit bigger. I wish they still imported the S4 wagon. I would have been all over that.

I'm happy though, and the S4 feels more like a sports car (IMO, before people start going down my throat), than the 335i does.

Has anyone gone from BMW to Audi also? Or vice versa?
after test driving, I did the same thing last summer

Why do you feel this? I drove a TL-S for a while and (granted I don't have a family), I thought it was plenty spacious and provided a good level of comfortability and some power to have fun with. I wouldn't say it's the BEST choice, but I think for what the car is, would make for a good family car.

I was referring to S4/S5/S6/S7/S8.

And again, in no way did I mean to offend anyone. A car can serve whatever purpose the buyer plans to do with it.

I knew someone who made a '98 Pontiac TA a family car, with those half ass seats in the back.

Oops, wrong S line. lol.

None taken, just curious to your opinion. What makes you feel S line isn't a family car? Should I decide to get one, it would probably be around the time my significant other and I would be starting a family, and Id like to get your opinion since you own one.

Only reason I even said that is because someone generalized Audi's as family sedans.

When I think family sedan, I think of the Accords/Altimas/Malibu's.

They're marketed as Sport Sedans.

It would make a fine family car, it's a smooth ride, and when the baby seats empty, Dad (or even Mom) can still have loads of fun in it.

Just watch that car seat on the fine nappa leather :P (or put a towel in between the car seat and the leather)

I wasn't a big Audi fan, until I saw the new S models especially the S6. The S series are pure beasts, and they look amazing. Congratulation on the purchase. Any plans on modding it performance wise?

I'm looking into APR Stage 1 to get it up to 400HP/382ftlbs Torque

I'm not sure though, the stock HP is plenty fun enough.
