Accidentally posted in the lunch thread

We went to a "beer dinner" last night at place in downtown OKC. This was their 2nd one, we also went to the first. 4 courses, each one had it's own beer pairing. Plus we got a glass to take home, I have no idea how they make money at only $45/person.

1st: Spinach and Kale salad, with craisins, candied walnuts, blue cheese, and an apple cider vinagirette.
2nd: Mussels in a spicy coconut curry sauce with toasty bread
3rd: Seared duck breast with smoked brocolinni, spätzle and acorn squash puree
4th: Blondie (cookie/brownie kind of a hybrid) with vanilla ice cream and nutella fudge sauce.

Cottage pie the other day for the bday. Wife did a great job, photo probably doesn't do it justice. Followed up blueberry crisp which I forgot to snag a photo of.

Sorry to hear that Esteban. Cats can still live a long life after contracting feline herpesvirus. Post a picture of your little friend if you can, so we can see that cutie

She was at her feeding trough, unlike Socks she does not like Italian food

As for the virus, Tiggie had it when we rescue her from the shelter. It did disappear after a few weeks so she should recover with time.

We have had our girl for 8 years (she is 10) and these are reoccurring flare ups that our vet, have seen several, said she will always have. Wish it would go away.

The wife made this one tonight: acorn squash, ground sausage, apple, celery, onion, etc etc - at knocking on the door of 7 months pregnant - a gem. It was delicious.
