Been loading up in the down time. End of this month and we'll be golden. Need support for BTC at 12k...then everything goes up.

Since ltc and ether just dropped amongst other, but last time they dropped they stayed down, but when they went back up it was over night. I have coin set aside for long term “investment” but do you think eith the recent crash it’d be worth it to gamble a little and hopefully it goes back up again within the month? For a quick return

the Mt Gox trustee has been tanking the BTC price apparently by selling off half a billion of BTC since Jan, and still has 160k BTC to sell - and doesn't care at all about tanking the market just as long as they can pay their fines.

Buckle up

I don't think it will go that low again. BTC dropped a lot today and I think its a good price to buy now.
I have been watching this market closely since the beginning of this year and it looks like BCT fluctuates a lot, but when it does it hits higher lows when it dips and higher highs when it goes up which is a good sign.
Many experts predict the price will rise slowly and will hit at least $35k by December.
So I would buy as many bitcoins as possible.

Links to their analysis'? $35k seems like a steep, steep prediction.

$35k isn't a steep prediction!

Others are saying it's going to $100k!

$35k is conservative!

Lmao

btc needs to die to prevent the kind of market trashing the mt gox trustee has done since xmas. He was told not to sell on the openmarket and kraken offered to sell for him but he just dumped it all in a bear market

Imagine if you'd lost 100 BTC to gox and the trustee repays you 5 years later at 2013 prices of $400, lmao, I can only imagine some of the cartel and mafia that own a chunk of those 2 billion in funds the trustee is sitting on are weighing their options

We need to stop thinking of BTC in dollars. People who believe in the future of cryptocurrency should never trade or sell them for dollars again.

Right?

The reasons for all the BTC crashes are a MT GOX investor who has been selling thousands of BTC(like 6-8k coins at a time) each time these crashes have happened. Even with his sell offs BTC has been taking it like a champ.

https://captainaltcoin.com/now-we-kn...crash-bitcoin/

BTW; the investor still has 180k BTC owned according to the article.

Cool I didn't know there was a crypto thread on M3Post.

I've been mining Zcash with 6 GPU's since beginning of June. In the beginning I played the buy low sell high game with the Zcash I mined but eventually grew tired of that. I cashed out half my coins and now im sitting on about 4.3 Zcash. Waiting till the next bubble to sell that. Also contemplating on exchanging my zcash for bitcoin and hoping it skyrockets again.

Buy more under $400? Really curious for your reason to buy at certain arbitrary price levels. What is the long term value in it? What value does it produce today? Why was under $500 significant?

Because $400 is less than $500...

I thought you were smarter than that.

I’m asking if he’s interested under $400 since he was interested under $500...as if it mattered.

These trades are almost entirely based on an anchoring effects.

Don't know what anchoring effects are, but there is no such thing with crypto.

One cannot anchor a rocket to the moon!
