Or GPS. My folks would have had a fit if they knew how much aimless driving I did down by the beach. Back then you could reach under the dash and disconnect the odometer cable. I bet that car had 50k unrecorded miles on it.

When you become a cliche.

2024 is my 65th year of existence on this rock, so of course I started on Medicare, making me officially a senior citizen. Has barely been a week and today I slipped getting into the shower. How's that for a cliche?

"Newly minted senior citizen slips in shower"

Luckily I was holding onto a bar my brother installed last year, so I didn't fall. But I managed to slam my shin on the side of the bathtub. Now I have a huge goose egg on my shin that hurts like hell. I swear, I'm living proof of Murphy's Law.
