Quality of that and trolls has been dropping since they stopped using AOL as their training ground before heading to the news groups.

The Carbon Credit Scam: Financial Cost, Virtue Signaling, Little or No Environmental Benefit
May. 24, 2024
Investigators have found that at least part of the carbon-neutral claims by airlines are backed by credits earned from preventing deforestation of forests that were never under threat.
Every year, China leads the world in coal consumption, burning 4,319,921,826 tons for everything from electricity generation to steel production. But it is deemed acceptable because China also plants a lot of trees and has created a market for trading carbon credits.
The irony of earning carbon credits by developing wind, solar, and alternative energy projects is that the company itself doesn’t need to switch to renewable energy. Instead, it can finance the installation of a windmill in a village in Bangladesh, thousands of miles away. There is no requirement that the village was previously burning coal or even had electricity. Furthermore, whether the village actually uses the windmill is not directly relevant.
Shell Oil became the target of international media when it was discovered they were playing a massive carbon credit shell game in China. Shell claimed thousands of credits for convincing Chinese farmers to use a carbon-saving farming method that about half of them had been using before the project even began. Even more comical was that the broker for these credits was PetroChina, a Chinese state-owned oil company.
Ultimately, carbon credits incentivize the buying and selling of carbon credits, rather than reducing the amount of pollution companies produce. Shell is a classic example of this; the company now has a very lucrative business line of creating and selling carbon credits.

Big money to be made in the Green Grift. Give a Power Point presentation to some low IQ politician and let the bucks flow.
In short the real crooks are hiding behind corporate placards taking the gubment for a ride who are fleecing peoples taxes.

Certainly. Do the wealthy control much in this world and pull political strings? Yup. Is there a dark conspiracy controlling everything? Nope.

I seriously wonder how AmuroRay functions on a daily basis. His mind is must be going a million miles a minute thinking the world and shadowy villain's are out to get him and control him. Zero. I think for myself. I have my own opinions about COVID. I do think we've been mislead about the origins of the virus though, especially considering the players involved. I certainly don't think the vaccines were some government-manufactured population/mind/Jason Bourne control project. LOL

Manufacturer's getting their demand estimates badly wrong/missing demand change cues is nothing new and it is very hard in fast changing market like EVs - if they estimate too low prices ramp up, too high they get too much stock, they need to adjust prices accordingly to sort out their stock issues.

I don't know what Merc dealers are like now, but last time I went in one I wasn't left with a feeling of being a potential valued customer, needless to say I didn't buy.

I can't say I'm surprised at that with dwindling sales and constantly changing for newer models far too soon for the sake of keeping some perspective on sales, nearly all new cars are on lease now and it's a crooked graphs that show car sales 'as cars sold' which is not true as leased cars don't belong to the leaser.

I'm going to lease next car, IX3, just on principle I know what it is going to cost for next 4 years, which much helped by company doing a salary sacrifice scheme is about same as if I brought it outright. I don't have to worry about what is value is going to be when I'd look at trading it in and in 4 years hopefully markets will have worked themselves out and we'll have a better view of life/costs of EVs.

All of them. If he’s not taking covid, he’s taking some other propaganda. I just ignore the guy - big talk and nothing to back it up with. His response was
“Yeah, the government is lying, but it can’t be to the level you believe because I say so”

Rivian R1T Needlessly Totaled By Insurer Over '99 Cents of Studs'
Luxury electric vehicles from newer auto manufacturers like Lucid, Rivian, and even Tesla are often written off by insurance companies after what seem to be relatively minor accidents. In many cases, this happens not because they aren’t repairable, but because insurers would rather write it off than deal with the hassle. Local repair shops often don’t have the tools to diagnose issues related to the battery and drive train, or service centers could be hundreds of miles away.

YouTube channel Rich Rebuilds points us to this Rivian R1T that at first glance seems to have minimal exterior damage to the vehicle’s front end and skid plate. The wreck was not even serious enough to deploy airbags, yet it was totaled by the insurance company. The insurer was worried that a handful of studs in the skid plate might have punctured the battery pack. So it was declared a total loss and left in a bricked state before anyone even had an opportunity to make repairs.

That's a bit creative. Weird is some of the other folks on here and their conspiracies. I hate to HAARP on that but I will.

I saw a flat black matte Cybertruck recently and it was amazing. That's the best wrap in my opinion.

No need for the wrap, give it a few years and it could very well look like that.

The hilarious thing to me (and everyone else) is how you pretend I’m crazy because I’m citing government programs, statements and have taken the time to actually look into what’s going on instead of regurgitating the same stories everyone else does.

You’re such a free thinker, and so logical that you believe everything they tell you. And you’re pretending I’m the clown here? Trust me when I say, you think you’re laughing at me, and I’m just sad for you.

No, you are crazy because you are generating conclusions not supported by the information.

Government: we are doing this. I literally posted clips of them claiming they were trying to, on a United world wide scale, manipulate the weather. I posted actual declassified operations of the government engaging in activities. I posted actual names of equipment they use to manipulate the weather, including ionizing the atmosphere via HAARP like equipment and Chemical trails.

You: the information doesn’t support it.

Sounds like a you issue. You think they, and their propaganda owned mouthpieces from the media are doing to ieay outright now “yeah we are totally faking all of this”
