This is true. It is how I ended up in F80 land.

Not really, it was mostly M2 inadequacies.

Just kidding. I know FL Dad's will be here soon.

You don't have a Birkin? I figured that was obvious as I looked at your gender in your profile.

$30k purse means:
1) the person is wealthy
2) The person has a solid financial income (may not be wealthy but takes home nearly the equivalent of the purse per month) and has set the $30k purse as a large goal and has saved accordingly.
3) Mommy and daddy really love her/him

or 4) they have high limits on their credit cards

Even if I had the positive can-do attitude and try to climb the corporate cog ladder where I am, I'd probably never be able to get an i8... Unless I decide to never retire or put my boys through college. Honest.

So I'll try to learn what you teach.

I still love how you listed your 3 "dream" cars that you would buy for $200k and then posted the three cars that you own with the 3 that you own barely being less than the three dream cars.

Did you take a huge pay cut leaving IB? From what I gather, IB makes pretty good money. Living in Texas where $500k buys you an estate (in most places), a $200-250k+ income could support an I8 with sacrifices in other areas. (Sell your wife's 335 so she can drive a Corrola. (non S))

Yes I'm doing the opposite of Biorin

I'm not hot enough to receive such a gift. Nor am I wealthy enough to buy one.

Maybe you can get one for me?

Read the username

I can't afford that stuff. After giving my mom my 10 year old car, I am driving my wife's old hand me down.

I took a paycut...I now make 1/2 of what I made in the past...I'm solidly a middle manager in a gargantuan public company.

Nah, for real Aatish... Any girl who carries Chanel or LV, Fendi is likely in the rear view. Just a word of unsolicited advice.

Lol, where did you see $1,000 fakes? You need to go to mainland China if you want to see fakes. The wholesale fashion markets in Shenzhen and Guangzhou are nuts.

Most of my stuff is Porsche Design and Mont Blanc.

I understand what you mean. I'm more of a prestige type person over looks. I try and balance the two. Fendi seems to be a lot more common than some of the aforementioned brands, as far as legitimacy of the product.

I like Margiela wallets.
