Hankook ventus tires! Wow, the best! Who cares about them M Performance parts when you have these tires. Next M car will have Kumho on them for better performance and to handle all that extra weight.
That rear splitter is a money grab. Should have been included in the CF pack/ ultimate pack option, considering it’s already a paid option! Would be good to hear the exhaust, fingers crossed. |

I actually think it's a decent looking car...sure it's not the F90 but at least they didn't completely butcher it like the M2 (sorry).
Thing to note, that front end sits LOW...dropping it + lip is going to be an issue. |

Rather reminiscent, no..? Though the JCB is probably a tad lighter and has a more rorty exhaust note.

Crap. I fit neither stereotype so now I’m wondering if my parents lied to me. Guess I’ll be getting that Ancestry test after all.

This tacked-on cosmetic crap is EXACTLY why no one thinks carbon fiber is cool anymore. These parts should have just been painted black plastic like the rest of the trim. CF should be used where it makes sense, not just used to show off. 5400lb whale with carbon fiber “performance” add-ons. Poseur crap. I chuckled at a brand new Civic Si this morning that had a bunch of Pep Boys nonsense glued to it, stickers too. It looked ridiculous. Obviously I believe in “to each their own” and I would never belittle someone unless they asked for it, but that all changes when it rolls out of the BMW Studio looking this way… this is what BMW thinks looks good. That’s telling. Now you can flame me for having an opinion. |

Not the first nor last time they have M Performance stuff, I can’t remember a time where it didn’t have decals etc. Same old story, pick and choose the stuff you like, skip the rest…
Front lip is great, I like the trunk spoiler too. Pass on the finned skirts, tried to love those on the G82 and took them off pretty quickly. Too much imo.

Not a fan of the Performance add-ons, but the M5 looks great in yellow.
An interesting neo-80s vibe. I love the slightly wonky look to the script on the M5 badge, too. The Germans often incorporate little off-kilter details like this! Black wheels are the business, too. |

Not a fan of the new M5, BUT....carbon fiber add-ons/body parts on any 4-door sedan that's going to be driven on the street 99% of the time is not for performance or weight savings. It's always for looks. That means the G90, G80, G84, and G87. All of them! This ain't no 911 GT3 RS. Unless these parts provide some sort of downforce, reduce drag or provide more brake cooling. It's for looks! |

This look will super appeal to those who like to pay up for their labels - be it on clothing, watches, etc. This will go right up their alley. Stickers too, the lot.
Having said that, this yellow is super nice. May be wheels id have in gunmetal to actually see them, but black is a good choice considering this car also has mismatched rims.
