Seafood is the thing I miss the most about New England. Just can't get it here in the midwest.

back in 2010 or 2009 i was on vacation in florida, first night i went to strip club. About 2 am i left joint ,walking over to rental which was convertible mustang. I open the trunk to get my gps and hotel papers i had printed out. I kept hearing Yo Yo Yo so I turned around and I saw 3 guys between 18-21 in 90s model honda accord 4 door. The passenger in front seat ask me for directions and I said I cant help you. I turned around to close the trunk and when I turned around I saw silver barrel pointed at me, maybe 10 ft away from me. The front seat passenger had a revolver, demanding my wallet... At that moment I went deaf and a lot of things went thru my head, saying to myself no1 else is seeing this???? Am I goin to die here in this strip club parking lot 2am.. first night here!
All of sudden I snap out of it, guy is demanding my wallet and violent waving gun..For some stupid reason I said go fuk yourself, ran to the driver side of mustang. I dont remember how i got in the car if i open the door or jump inside....All i heard was car peeling out. For a minute I realize how stupid I was, I couldve been killed in a different state. The next minute I felt like going after them. Ever since that incident, Im always looking over my shoulder. |

Last year had a semi almost crush me on the bike between the trailer and a concrete median. That was a fun. Not sure if he was messing around with something in the cabin or what but he started coming over into the lane fast, being on the highway couldn't just stop so had to drop gears and try to make it through going forward.

I dunno - Southeast FL - NY accent? Could be a local. Or a Montreal accent - also could be local.

Was in a head in collision with a car driving the wrong way on the freeway when in high school.
Also was on a one way section of i90 and had a truck coming at me. Avoided that one. Had car of people pull shotgun on us at a stop light, we took off and they chased, got away including some retaliatory shenanigans. Hit by car riding my bike. Hit an abandoned car with a yz250 took bar end square in chest. Trapped under overturned canoe before I could swim very well. Accident on my r1. Jumped off 2 story roof with garbage bag parachute. Stuck a knife in a light bulb socket to see if it was working. Last edited by 1MOREMOD; 07-15-2016 at 10:36 AM.. |

Last second decision too, adrenaline pumping, saw car behind me, could either get rear ended, crushed, or barely make it between fender and median. Not an easy decision to make on the spot.

1. YMCA - I was 10. Didn't know how to swim so I got one of those balls to hold on to do I could float. Round objects are buoyancy in water so it shot away from me after a while. Water level was to high for me so I dropped to the bottom and kept jumping up for air. The lifeguard there saw me jumping up and down and for some reason thought I could swim and never jumped in. After what seemed like an eternity my dad came out from the changing room, saw me, and pulled me out of the pool. I was like 3 feet from the edge (other family members were there but they were busy taking care of other kids).
2. Similar stuff while on vacation in Vietnam. I was 15. Went to Ha Long Bay. Rented private boat to take the bunch of us around. Docked at this secluded beach. No shoes or sandals on my feet. Was waddling in the water there when I noticed the rocks were pointy and razor sharp. So as I tip toed toward shore the water was carrying back out (again water level was at my nose with me tip toeing). As the current carried me away from shore I was feeling the ground and then bam! A huge drop! It was where the land stops meeting the sea and it's just a huge under water cliff. I panicked and thought I was gonna get pulled down and die. I frantically grabbed onto this thin rope that was hung across the water and pulled myself back up/in. I barely made it...none of my family members saw what happened. Tldr: almost drowned twice. Some years later someone took me to a fortune teller and he said to be careful when I'm around bodies of water because I could drown. Yikes. |

I've been hit by a van and station wagon on separate instances while riding my bike (as in bicycle), the former knocking me over and the latter splaying me across the hood.
Then, in college, I had an affinity for sparring outside my weight class...particularly because there was no one in my weight class; everyone was 25+lbs more than me (aside from Eric who was 45 pounds less). I'm a competitive guy and strong for my size so I worked my way up to the 240lb-er and was still very much competitive. The next guy up was 295lbs and was quite fast when shooting (he wrestled his whole life and was still involved). Once, he shot in for a double leg but slipped and I somehow ended up on the back of my head and shoulders....then he fell on top of me and there was a snapping sound from my neck. In hindsight, I should have gotten my neck looked at nothing was bleeding or falling off so, by guy-code, all was well. I do occasionally have a very slight twitch of my head which I attribute to that moment. I did, however, beat him that time.....he hesitated just enough that I was able sink in a choke and get him to tap. There was also that time in Boy Scouts when we were throwing extra cans of food into the massive bon fire we built. The next morning was when we were able to see exactly how much (and how close) flaming food and metal cans bits had been flying around us unseen. I've also had Chipotle twice. That's got to count for something.

Every so often I get a craving for some grade F reject farm meat from Taco Bell. However, given my location in the city, the nearest one to me is almost a 45 minute commute due to traffic and the time I want it. So pretty much I never go.
Well last week they opened a store about 2 miles from me (10 min drive). Said fuck it and got me 3 tacos. In the excitement of finally being able to eat one of my college favorites, I forgot to think about that I have not had their abomination of what they classify as meat in over 2 years. 3 tacos and a hour later my stomach was brewing something terrible. BAD. I felt like I had just eaten some super questionable items off a street vendor in Bangkok. Started sweating bullets and lightly shaking. Then it hit.... I dropped everything and ran into my guest bathroom to evacuate what was in my rectum. My stomach hurt so bad and I felt like my body was trying to fight off what it probably thought was a complete assault on my digestive system. The smell emitting from the bowl was so bad I almost passed out and it caused my dog to start barking like crazy outside the door. That or the gunfire sound of gasses coming out from my rear. In one last push to purge everything out I coughed at the same time which caused a reflex to make me jerk backwards and I hit the back of my head on the wall. I'm very blessed that I didnt split my head open and have to be found by building management dead in a mess of poop. So Taco Bell almost killed me. Do I regret eating it? No. |
