In winter I like IPA's
Dogfish head 90 minute IPA
Victory Hop Devil
Magic Hat HIPA

In the Spring, I like pilsners, pretty much exclusively:
Bitburger
Spaten

As for Summer, I pretty much like hefe's (and a couple lighter beers):
Julius Echter Hefeweizen
Franzikaner Dunkel Weizen
Paulaner Weisse
Corona (gotta have fresh wedge of lime)
Speaking of fruit. I don't like fruit in my hefe beers.

In the Fall, I go for refreshing beers
Wachusett Blueberry Ale
Magic Hat #9

Those are just some of my favorites, I like a diverse list, but don't generally like porters, bitters, but I do like and occasional stout. Guinness (only on tap) and Murphys top my list.
Great list, I agree with almost every one, particularly the Paulaner and Franzikaner.

I've always been a dark beer fan, so to add to the list: Boulevard Porter, Stout of Circumstance (SF local), Guinness, of course. Local to Toronto - Amsterdam Nut Brown, and Coffee Stout. Waterloo Dark is ok too.

I also like Newcastle and Bass when I have to drink an ale.

For darker beers (porters and stouts) I like some by a microbrew up in Northern California called Mendocino Brewing Company. Their Black Hawk Stout is great--makes Guiness taste like motor oil.
Good call, my wife got me turned on to those. It's delicious. Mendecino Brew is like a staple in NorCal; you can't go to Trader Joes without getting some Red Tail or Black Hawk.

Their variety and quality are amazing. By far, my favorite hands down. And if you like them strong, they have several from 8-12 alcohol%.
I just got to your post and I'm really fucking jelous!!! I love Golden Monkey and just picked up Hop Wallop for the first time ever. I've tried every beer of theirs that have made it this far and love them all. I'll make a trip someday to that down just to go to the brewery.

Lets see if I can even come close to naming even some of my favs... they'll be in no particular order.

Newcastle, Bass, Guiness, Boddingtons, Bell's Oberon, Victory Brewing beers as already stated, Great Lakes Brewing(X-mas ale, Anniversary ale, blackout stout, Nosferatu, edmund fitzgerald, dortmunder; to name a few), Rocky River Brewing(local-doesn't bottle anything yet. They've won a good amount of National medals), Stone Arrogant Bastard, Dogfish Head raison d' etre', Euifimere(sp?), Blithering Idiot, Hoegaarden,

I dunno, I was just typing as I thought of them.

Oh and Miller came out with the special brew. It's the only time I will ever give a miller product 2 thumbs up. It's called Classic Chocolate Stout. It won a gold medal and the great american beer festival last year. They only sent out limited batches to certain areas and I guess my area was a lucky choice. Anyways its the bomb so keep an eye out for it. It's sold in 4-packs.

I'd like to consider myself a beer conisor(sp?). My friends constanly give me the odd look when I come strolling in with a +$10 6-pack of beer. Most of them are for quantity, not quality. I've got a few to cross into the glorious light of good beers haha.
