I know you've been trying for a Vegan G82 for a while and it *might* be possible to fulfill this request for a US order sometime next year if there aren't any additional unforeseen disruptions.

2022 M240i Discounts? (Fall 2021)

I'm looking to purchase first BMW; (be gentle - a virgin) a 2022 240i xDrive - and will almost certainly order. Any advice on do's/don'ts?
- What is a realistic discount % in the midwest? I'm seeing ~5% is good? I also qualify for the military discount; is that included or should I negotiate for that to be in addition to the discount?

- What's the wait time these days from order to delivery? (I'm not in a huge hurry)

Thanks all -

2022 M240xi will come from Mexico which takes nearly as long, if not longer, than from Leipzig. The real problem for the dealership is getting the allocation in the first place. In most areas today you'll find no discount. Your military incentive is non-negotiable and you apply for it on the BMWUSA website through the IdMe link there. You may/will lose any other BMW incentive (if available) by choosing the military discount.

Am I lucky to have gotten a '22 M235i GC with the ambient lighting package (and maybe some other things, like the touch screen)? My understanding is that a customer had ordered the car and then decided not to purchase when it arrived at the dealership. It was inside the showroom, and I snapped it up yesterday when I was there to look at purchasing a '21 courtesy vehicle (which turned out to be thrashed and dirty and gross).

Seems like maybe some of those options are no longer available to order due to the chip shortage. I do notice that the window sticker says that wireless charging and digital key were "removed" and show a credit. Guessing they were ordered but BMW couldn't produce them?

Still have a few pages of the thread to catch up on...

Hi all, new poster here and hoping you can help me.

I recently ordered a 430i xdrive convertible with the msport package. The website allows you to build one without the cockpit pro option, but it seems when the dealer tried to place the order, the cockpit pro was not able to be removed.

Has anyone else heard of cockpit pro not being optional?
