Nothing much around here. Never lost power. I was following all the tornados just north of us. Hurricane I can deal with (usually) but tornados??? Fuck that!!!! Never seen so many tornados in this area. Usually they never touch ground or if they do they don’t last very long.
My father in law up in Port St Lucie lost power but he got it back this afternoon. Lots more downed trees and stuff up there. Even some giant light posts that were completely bent over. Can only imagine that was a tornado. |

Shutters go up on anything on my side of the coast, not so much for the hurricane, more for the tornados it kicks up. Cat 3+ on gulf side shutters go up. Cat 4 or 5 on my side and Im outta here

Shutters will help if debris is sent your way but they wont do anything for a direct hit unfortunately. There is no protection from that.

EF2 or 3 very close by but it missed us so we’re good. Never saw anything quite like this one with all the tornadoes.
