I am looking forward to a test drive of the Coupe...

The 370Z didn't quite hit the mark for me, but who knows this might.

I did drive the 370Z and posted up a review in the thread linked below. The test drive was moderately aggressive, mainly limited by the temp. vs. summer tires. Of course I didn't go completely bananas either only having a few minutes behind the wheel, but I did push it hard enough to get the impressions I wrote about.

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=223165

This is the 370Z vs. 135i thread.

My review appears on page 9 and there are two followup posts as well, one about the rev-match feature and one about the interior space.

One guy posted a pic showing two good sized golf bags in the hatch, so now I am questioning myself on my initial comments about that in my review, man I just didn't see how that is possible....?

If you have any questions about my review please feel free to PM me, or post up in that thread. I say that thread because for now it's more likely I will be looking at that one, the Genesis will not be coming out for a bit from what I understand.

This car is not original in any way. They're just copying other designers with a twist. Shame on them for never comming out with anything original. Then again, aren't most of their electronics lower-end Japanese copies that are just better made than the Chinese?

MAKE YOUR OWN DAMN ORIGINIAL CAR! If you're going to copy, be like the Chinese. At least they have no shame in what they do which I respect:

I like the new Genesis (sedan), I was seriously considering getting rid of my E90 and E46 and buying one as a daily driver then instead of getting the M maybe getting a 911.

Actually I am still considering it. It may not drive exactly like a BMW but its fairly nice looking and gives you a hell of a lot of value for the money.

You sure about that? The Hyundai family has a long standing history in Korea and has been making products for a long time.

She can get about $6000 off at the right dealer. The Azera, more like the size of a BMW 5, is under 30-K loaded.

Not hating on anyone but when you are compared to as a brand by all others you know your GREAT... BMW is great thats why everyone compares to them... you don't see anyone comparing their cars to a Hyundai.. enough said

But I must admit thats a nice car and if I was considering a sedan at a lower price point i'd shop that car over the Acura's and Lexus's..

Hmm, maybe I'm not following your logic, but what does a missing tail light (often taken out for camera mounting on cars) have to do with how well a car did?

From a design standpoint, hyundai does use styling cues from other manufacturers. Then again, all manufacturers are guilty of this...some more blatant than others. I must ask, though. from a chassis standpoint, how many turbocharged RWD cars are there in that pricepoint?

Oh, and nice ignorant generalization. It's funny how a korean company is one of the leading high-end LCD manufacturers...as well THE largest producer of memory chips and the largest overseas manufacturer of semiconductors.

try getting beyond your blind ignorance and acknowledge that this car may have potential...especially in its respective pricepoint.

they are not hatign they are just trying to make it. I had a hyundai several years ago; they are quite good. Not a BMW but, their not garbage. They are certainly ahead of some of the domestic models aswell as Suzuki IMO.
