Of the 350 something "friends" I have on facebook, only about 15 or so would I consider really really close friends. Probably only 7 would I consider BFFs.

Those are the only people who are happy for you. Most everyone else is jealous or thinks you're an idiot; especially those who aren't in the same "place" you are in life. You younger members will come to realize this as you get older.

I had a meeting last month with a guy who saw me pull up in my car. That was a knock against me right from the start. I'm 29 and driving a BMW convertible, he's 60-ish and driving a 1998 Toyota.

After about 2 minutes, he goes "oh those are Prada shoes, huh, I know those were really expensive." And instead of saying, "yeah, these babies set me back $500." I told him they were knockoffs.

I would hope it is in NY. Im gonna get either PCA 777 or PCA 420 as my plates. This is because my plates on my 320i are PCA 777. If I go with PCA 420, it wont look to suspicious with the the letters infront of it people are more likely to dismiss it, or asume its refering to how much HP the car has. Hows that X3 driving? I cant stand how tacky the interior panels are... I really hope she rides like how she used to, that shit was a nasty hit

Im moving down at the end of the year, going to Pace U in NYC. Im still debating wheather to go with le mans blue or alpine white for my e90 m3. I love the white, but the blue is pretty sweet too. I'll most likely end up with the white.... I dont know, ive read many stories on here with people whos cars ride imperfectly after they get them back and they usually decide to sell it and cop a new car.... I hope she gets back to you in mint condition...

You're assuming that some aren't for more discrete reasons than trumpeting out they have a perceived status brand...I'm with mycoupe's earlier post.

Mine for a while...only someone who really knows cars would pick up it's an LCI-E90...and I choose not to have my image generally visible to non-friends/acquaintances...
