How do you have enough random science knowledge to get 12/13 and have not heard of fracking? I would think if you watch the even the news you would have heard of it before.

"Fracking" is not a scientific term. It is a purely technological term, and a fairly slang-ish at that. The question has no place in a quiz claiming to be about "science".
The question about the size of an electron is another question that would make scientifically-educated people roll their eyes. Since electron is a part of atom, it is a safe bet that electron being smaller than atom is intended to serve as the right answer. But still, a question about physical size of an elementary particle with dual wave-particle properties is not as meaningful as it might seem at the first sight.
