I taught both my kids to drive stick. My son even "bought" my first BMW from me, an '88 528e with 5 speed MT. I drove the wheels off it, "sold" it to him and he put another 100k miles on it. He was the only one who had a manual transmission car at college.

Both my kids have told me they plan to teach their kids to drive stick. All they have to do is find a vehicle with a manual transmission.

Porsche still offers a manual… . Or for something more reasonable, BMW will let you get the M2 in manual.
