I feel the same way but it is what it is. If that's what it is. I'll find out soon enough.

But there are cases when it goes fast, too. Don't take anything for granted.

You know you are old when your 29 year old talls you she is pregnant and you are going to be a grandpa....

But, you can't believe it because you have a 12 year old and a 3 year old.

So, technically, you have to stick around for a while.

Valentine's Day

I hope everyone has a nice Valentine's Day. Remember when we were in grade school and we gave/received Valentine cards from girls/boys in our class.

What do you do for Valentine's Day?

I'll start:

Over the years, it's gotten less and less exciting. I posted this image on the "You know your old when" page. That's about right for my wife and myself. We've been happily married forever and neither of us treats Valentine's Day as a special day anymore. Sad but true. I buy flowers and/or candy once in awhile and surprise here with a trip or something special, but I don't tie these gestures to February 14.

So, what's your big plan for Valentine's Day? Whatever it is, enjoy the day!

^^ Got a doctor’s appointment in a little bit.

Been married for ‘forever’ too so not a big deal. We will have a nice dinner later, then we’ll see what happens next.

PS - wedding anniversary is a big deal around here. That’s our day.

Well, I thought the second post was a new thread called Valentine's Day so the younger folks could chime in. I screwed up and made it just another post for us old folks.

Actually, I did it to see if you'd catch my mistake. You succeeded.

That's okay. I took your age into account, and you get a pass.

We were going to lunch to avoid the dinner crowd, but, alas, my wife doesn't feel well se we're having leftover homemade stew.

We were going someplace nice for our 48th last month, but my wife was sick then, too. We always try to have a nice dinner on our anniversary, but have had to "float" a few; the last 2 the latest.

We never saw or heard of Frank's Pontiac GTO again.

Ask me anything about any Seinfeld episode. I have watched them so many times, even the Puerto Rican Day episode.

BMW content. The smelly car episode. Jerry's 5 series has a smell that he cannot get rid of. Even a car salesman says he can't sell the car.
