I have been enjoying spaghetti lately! More miles on the bike probably has had an influence...

Spaghetti with pesto, S&P and red pepper flakes. Salad with arugula, onion, kalamata olives, EVOO, fresh squeezed lemon juice, parmesan, S&P.

Cabbage & broccoli in skillet - I used chicken broth but it calls for a bottle of beer, cover - then add cheddar & cream cheese -season with adobo seasoning - cover while bratwurst are on bbq, cut up bratwurst add to skillet.

Game changer is lemon zest in the stuffing. Bruno Albouze's recipe calls for lemon confit, which is far better than lemon zest, but I don't have a batch of confit going in the fridge at the moment.

We attended a wine dinner last night. Great food and wine. Sorry about the octopus pic, I got a little excited about the course and dug in before I snapped the pic. The duck was out of this world, best I’ve ever had. No pics of the wine, hence appropriate for the dinner thread. We did order 6 bottles, though. Will post to the wine thread when I receive them.
