And why my last BMW is probably my 2008 Z4. It was already in production before he could fuck it up.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

That is fugly... Just dont see the point in this car.. The 3 series is small enough if you want a compact sedan.
Looks like it's one of those Chinese BMW replicas. Why have 335 style double exhaust on a 120...?

Feel like the bottom half no longer likes the M partition of the bumper scheme, but really looks like a Mazda bumper

Hey now, you could think of it as the beginning of a new era: FWD sedans!
We could have a fanmade way to classify BMW vehicles, BCE and CE (Before Cheap Era and Cheap Era) for when BMW completely bent to the biddings of the mainstream consumer. We're witnessing history here, I tell you! :P

Umm the 3 series is getting big. E46/E90 were perfect sizes IMO. F30 got bigger, and the G20 is poised to grow even more. The F30 is already right on the cutoff for a "compact" car. The next generation might see it jump to the midsize class according to the EPA.

lmao... this company gets better day by day... 5 year outlook for bmw... be absolutely like everyone else, offer 0 product differentiation from others in the market, dont build cars based on a heritage or dynamics that made you great...
so then what again is the point of owning a bmw a few years down the road?

I find it difficult to respect the viewpoint where people state "it would come [to western markets] in xDrive, so what's the difference?" This car has its engine positioned transversally; with the much of engine mass in front of the axle line. This is a major change for BMW brand sedans.
However, I respect the car from a business perspective. It seems like a very promising addition to the category.
