As long as we are more sub-objective to recognize that we are below or equal the middle and havent the intention to bother other ppl with our appearance, its ok. But this is my POV.

That city is my favorite city out of all the places I've visited. The place will rise again and when it does, ax and I will go there and cause some havoc.

Depends on which part. Downtown is slowly trying to grow again, a lot of local business owners trying to open up food spots, local art, etc.

However, if you ride up and down 7 mile near Groesbeck/Gratiot all the way out towards Woodward/Southfield it's a ton of burned down houses, bums everywhere, shootings, prostitutes, crack houses, and all that fun stuff. This probably spans across 40 square miles (maybe more, I'm no geologist) in the surrounding downtown areas.

Oh, I drove there last summer. It was epic! It's hilarious for a European to be in a place everyone says is scary as hell and all I met was people who seriously appreciated fun. The spirit of the city is such a mindfuck, I'll definitely go back.

I still text at times with some of the folks I met there. Our lives couldn't be any different but man we all have in common a touch of attitude (yes, the misfits song is playing in my head

Hey now, nowhere in that statement did I tell him to avoid ANYTHING! I was merely explaining the demographics of the area. Some of the best soul food I've had was in the armpits of Detroit.

We're all on this world together, some places you just have to watch your back more than others.
