Hi All,
My name is Carlton, I am 32 and living on the peninsula in the bay area of CA. Been surfing on the forum for a little while and thought I would introduce myself. I have had 4 BMWs, 2 acuras, 2 fords, and 1 jeep. Currently I am splitting time between an '86 325es (repainted to match original red) and an '01 jeep cherokee. I had another E30 a couple years back, an E46 328i sedan (which I liked), and got an E90 330i (which I disliked and sold). All in all I am likely needing to eventually replace the 325es with something with airbags, working brakes and power steering, you know things that make it "safe" to my fellow travellers. I am interested in a 135 mostely because it reminds me of the E30s, but obviously with the modern curves and technology. One thing I hope they improve over the e90 is the electronic brakes. Since when is it a feature for the breaks to not disengage when you release the peddle!? WTH? Looking at 135i, premium, no nav, sedona red, terra leather, no run flats (please!). Needing BMW to redeem itself to me with this car, or I will get an E46 330i ZHP for probably the same price. - Dogan (aka Carlton) |

![]() BTW, welcome to the neighborhood. I had a 325e in '84 (with working brakes) and I'm hoping that a 135i will be the spiritual replacement for that car. An E46 330i ZHP sounds like a good fall-back. ![]() |

Hi, I'm new to the site and very interested in the 135 as my next daily driver/weekend track car. I currently have an RX-8 and my wife has a Mini Cooper S. We used to drive E46s and loved them and are still members of the local BMW club.

Heya!
Hullo all,
I'm so excited about this car, I can't wait to get behind the wheel. I've always driven e30s because they're RWD lightweight, agile and fun to drive, yet practical. I'm really glad BMW decided to make this car to satisfy my needs. I'm planning on getting a Jet Black, Terra Leather/Cashmere Silver 135i. -Chris |

Hey all, My name is Shane.
I've lurked this forum for the past couple months looking for any scraps of info on the 1 series...it's an addiction. So far my plans are for the 128, as a possible replacement for my Merkur, as a daily driver, and maybe some fun on weekends. |

Hi all,
Current car '97 jet black 328IS. Looking forward to getting a 135i coupe some time early this next year. Just have to figure out what color I want. In the south where I live now the Jet Black gets real hot in the summer. |

Hey I just joined. I currently lease a 2005 Infiniti G35X, really enjoy it but have always wanted a BMW. I think the 135i has my name written all over it when my lease is up next fall.

Hello Everyone!!!!! Joe from New Jersey... I currently own a 2006 Bmw M3 also had a Honda S2000 and a Supra Twin Turbo. I love the M3 what a great everyday performance car. I miss my Supra and Love Turbos. When I heard the 1 series is comming with the 335i twin Turbo motor I was like hmmmm interesting. As I have read like all of you I think this is going to be one of the most fun performance cars to drive and mod!!! I hope BMW did this right!!!
