I am on the fence on this one, I believe the car as a whole will look good, the back being the weakest part in terms of design, as on the i5 base model. This diffusor is, at least in these pictures, a little too much for the M5 segment IMHO. A M5 should be sporty, agressive but still elegant, unfortunately it looks like they forgot the latter…

Take the good with the bad; overall it’ll be 🔥 plus the aftermarket bits will be an alternative to stock trim for some. I’ve noticed most of us either get used to the forward looking design language or it grows on us…I wasn’t a fan of the huge screens then I purchased the ‘24 X5M and I actually like it a lot. Ha. Give it a chance.

Flared fenders and an aggressive new style diffuser to totally differentiate from the normal 5 series - I absolutely love it. Now here’s hoping they can fix the XM power/drive train being used in the M5. If so they have another clear winner. That’s a big if though because so far all we’ve heard is bad reviews on the XM. Hope they can Turn that around I’m excited for it if so
