Best bang for the buck? Theres one that can usually be found for around $60 with a little lcd screen and macro abilities. But You can't go wrong with any of them starting at that one and going up to the touch screen one.

I have the harmony one. best buy sells if for around $200. smaller stores sometimes have it for $175. my dad bought himself a cheaper model, thing was garbage in comparison. never worked half as good as the one.

it's their top of the line remote that still looks like a remote and not a tablet if you know what i mean. has a little LCD that has all the presets to turn everything on at once or however you set it up. also a cool feature in the help button, it walks you through what could be wrong to correct if say the receiver didn't turn on but should have.

Bestbuy has that 15 device one on sale. Looks like you have a lot of devices. The lower models only handle 5-6 devices.

I never had a problem with my cheap one. Ran the tv, cable box, dvd player, receiver, and second receiver without any problems.

So I just got my Harmony 1100. What I can say is that it's awesome! Programming was a bit fiddly, but once I got it down, it was pretty easy. I can now take my five remotes and put them in a box somewhere! Now I just have to get used to where all the buttons/screens are. The one touch feature is really slick.

isn't it great. have you used the help feature yet? comes in handy, especially for technology challenged wives or girlfriends.

the set up walk through on the computer wasnt all that hard, just how you initially set everything up and test everything individually can get teadious. once it's all done though its rock solid. haven't had a programming issue in over 2 years that help couldn't fix.

I looke4d at the basic one, but frankly I liked the looks of the 1100. For only $290, who cares? I paid damn near 600 bucks for my old phillips one back when this technology was in its infancy. I actually brought it to work to tweak some of my settings and I'll try them tonight. Good money spent!

Good luck Mike. My harmony was the biggest piece of shit ever. Set it up, worked fine....for about 2 months. Redid it...fine for a month. Went back to just regular remotes for probably 6-8months, and decided to try and reprogram it. No go, wouldn't learn any codes, devices, anything, and the new interface software for windows 7 was absolute horseshit. Customer support was just as worthless....maybe more so since someone was actually being paid to take your call and be of absolutely no help whatsoever, and actually have less knowledge of the device than you gleaned through troubleshooting it in the 45min before you resorted to calling tech support. I was never as mad at an electronic device as I was that day. I was ready to send a box of my shit to their HQ in California, but I googled it and it's illegal.

I will never buy another Logictech device.
