Well, well.
Mr. Long Tran just posted up an engine -
An S52 engine that could and did at the Vegas race strip during
MFEST.

I'm trying to get the story straight, so perhaps Mr. Ivan can fill in
the details of why were seeing this engine away from it's shell.

I know first night, the E36M3 was doing quarter mile runs all night long,
hard and strong. (that's what she said.) And the next day for the
track event, Ivan was drift'n around the autox course.

The AA supercharger was handle'n excellent. I believe Ivan went
9 laps on the track also, chasing down - what bimmer was it Ivan? -
testing it out, pushing the E36M3 limits, having fun. Then bam!...

...Tow truck to barstow... then ran home from there to the shop!
I'm sure there's details.
All I know is JMS is bout to do their Magic on the number 2 cylinder.

Ok mr. frankie , the reason is that i guess all that new added power was a bit to much for our complete bone stock 153k engine . Anyways with every bad comes GOOD! The engine is next door at JMS racing engines right now getting a complete rebuild with all the goodies, forged pistons better valve springs port and polish work to the head and so forth.. We are very excited to get this build done in time for bimmerfest . Im sure frankie will keep everyone posted . cheerios!

This is going to be sick. Ivan drove that M3 hard night and day. I was surprised to see him keep putting distance on newer M3s at the track. He could have easily went back to hotel room to do his thing and come back, he'd be still ahead of most of'em
Nice to have shop like JMS next door

Thanks for the bump! I've seen this car many times online and in person but never saw the build. Awesome car LT. Whoever wrote the first post has a real good sense of humor.
