We started painting in June of 2012 and actually finished in Feb. this year. we did everything except the foyer and the great room being that they had 24 ft ceilings. We got a quote to paint it and it was $21,000 complete and would take 4 weeks. The money we saved by painting it ourselves bought us our bedroom furniture. Still not sure it was worth it, just have a very hard time paying someone to do work that We are perfectly capable to do. I guess that is why we are where we are. Work Ethic.

No one would ever paint as well as we did... We hired people for the Foyer and the great room due to 24' ceilings and we wern't very happy with the results. Glad we chose to do it cause it saved us $21,000 and allowed us to buy the bedroom furniture we wanted.

[QUOTE=MP0WER;13901793]Thanks. Love the wolf range, 6 burners. We picked a simple wolf hood with the blower motor in the attic so it runs quite. The wolf double ovens are awesome! Love having garlic bread in one and a pizza in the other.
I ran into the Wolf/SubZ regional rep when we started building the house. She took a liking to me and gave us a smoking deal on those items. She basically gave us $22k of appliance for $9500! Pal of mine owns an appliance store and said that was much less than what she sells him model home appliances for. 9500? including the sub zeros? how can i get that hook up??

You just went from 'IM SO BALLER' to 'im 12 and what is this?' Must be nice to not learn the value of a dollar by the time youre a legal adult.

That's cool. I was mostly curious on the layout, like is it 3 bays wide and 2 bays deep, or is it 6 bays wide which would require a massive driveway.

This is a fantastic analogy. I may have to borrow it sometime.
