Went for a drive to scout landscape locations with snow, we don't often get snow, so we jumped in the Disco and went for a drive..

Awesome shot, Alan. Nicely done.

Been wondering how you're handling the heat, Ed. Especially since a/c is rare out there.

I installed central AC in my house the first summer I had the kitties. I got worried about them being home in a shut up house during the heat. Best money I have ever spent, as I must say I have enjoyed it as well. We don't get a lot of too-hot days here, but we get enough to make it a no-brainier for me. I can't sleep well when its hot. And last weekend it was so hot outside my pool water reached 104 degrees!

I stayed inside with a cold rosé.

Good move. Investment in a/c is never a waste.

Saw a heckuva fight the other day. The sound of the antlers colliding is pretty terrifying

My SF based daughter bought an AC for a little apartment a week or two ago. She's been in that apartment 3-years and temps finally got where she couldn't stand it.

Thanks Dave. I wish I could have got some closer shots, but it was about 90 outside, and everything I took with the 500 came out way too blurry due to the atmospheric distortion.

I wish they would have been fighting when I drove by there hours earlier when it was much cooler and the sun was behind me. Stupid uncooperative Elk!

Super coyote-hunting pose. I love the backlight and processing of the shadow side. Great action.

You on a river cruise, DC? Wifey and I have debated taking one of those.

Got back on Wednesday. Did Paris to Normandy and back, with three extra days in Paris. It was a premium price, but a premium product. ($8,000 all in, with Viking).

Send PM if you want to know more details.

Sony a9, Metabones MkV and Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II, hand held. Should have shot at f/16 rather than f/8, to get a little more DOF.
