Heartbreaking loss for Bengals. Will be a good SB game, but not sure if I like Eagles’ chances vs Chiefs. Andy Reid and KC are beasts.

Eagles are favorites right now, by 1.5.

Their D and O lines are best in the league this year. They have been dominating the line of scrimmage. But containing Mahomes is not easy. Should be a good one.

Cmon Chiefs!!!

I dont feel as bad rooting for them since they are basically the Cowboys. Mahomes was a cowboys fan, he grew up in texas, and the chiefs used to be in Dallas.

as i told F30lolz, This is our year.

Well, now all I care about will be the numbers that intersect with my square . . .

OK, that's pretty much all I cared about all season.

+160 so far for the season, and owner of 1.5 squares with 2800/quarter.

It's a good thing I don't wager on games, none of my picks won. Who would have predicted that Purdy would get knocked out of the game and the Bengals would make so many mental mistakes? The hit on Mahomes on the final drive was the most glaring to me. Either way, it proves that anything can happen on any given Sunday.

DAYUMN....

Denver just gave up a First and Second Round Draft Pick for Sean Payton. Now I'm not saying he's not worth it, cause I actually wanted him here in Dallas!
But if you really analyze Denver, you have to analyze the Wilson trade. He absolutely sucked this season and they gave up Two 1st and one second Draft Picks!
Essentially, they are all in on Russell! So this means, he wanted Payton in Denver as the next head coach. That means, Denver has given up:

3 First rd + 2 second rd Picks for Russell Wilson!!!

That shit is unfathomable. 😳😭

Wow, they have given away so many picks (and players- Noah Fant, Drew Lock, maybe others) for Wilson and now Payton. I don't see this working out very well. Maybe they have some cap space to sign free agents. Giving away tons of draft picks worked well for the Rams in the 2021 season but it's a big risk.

Question though: why with Payton's retirement was he still tethered to the Saints in a contract?

Great question. Here's why: https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/...azwyca7nvya1nb

"Saints still own Payton's contract, which means it has to trade him to a team for a team to acquire it."

I'm actually surprised by this. As you would think by "retiring", his contract would be voided. Guess not.

This has been known since Payton retired, not a surprise. It was just a question of if/when Payton wanted to start coaching again and which was desperate enough to “trade” for him…

Please don’t ever mention the Chiefs and the Cowboys in the same sentence again. Are you off your meds again?

Back to reality, the Broncos better hope that RW can turn back the clock, though he played decent his last two games but they have no draft capital when they need it the most.

Packers want to move on from Drama and want two 1st rounders. Jets need a QB and Broadway Joe said he would give Arod his #12.

Also, anyone listening to Mad Dog Russo’s trivia questions for SB tickets? Might call in and attempt a stab.

Steven A. Is another one that needs to keep his OPINION to himself in reference to the Houston Texans!

That dude makes his livelihood keeping the Dallas Cowboys in his mouth, even though he supposedly hates them. He's more of a comedian than a Sports Analyst imo.

I cant really get mad at a player for congratulating or rooting for other players. They arent fans and arent in to these rivalries the same as we are. Most are more in to the brotherhood of the NFL and are friends with guys from all teams.

I don't even think TB would get this call...with a big old two hands up flop at the end. i get it is his job to sell the foul but damn the ref's fucked up left and right.

Speaking of TB, he is officially retired! Too bad, he is still better than 75% of the QBs in the league by my estimation. I would have liked to see a few more years and a to put those records even father out of anyone else's reach. I can't imagine he is going to be happy doing anything but playing football. Commentary on Fox? "Hey Tom not how they did it back in your day eh?" sounds brutal. He would probably be more brutal of a coach than Belichick.

It did look like Mahomes flopped when watching real time and especially watching the replay. And I had this disappointed feeling come over me thinking "oh great, of course Mahomes gets a favorable call and now we wont get to see this game go into overtime...." I think the call was consistent with how the NFL has been calling those fouls but it really could have gone either way. I hope they reconsider how they officiate sideline hits (not sure how but it's a tough situation for a defender running at full speed and having to know exactly where the runner's feet are) and also when QB's slide. Especially on the QB slides where a defender is already falling forward, airborne, and committed to their next move where the QB slides into the hit; there is nothing the defender can do with all that momentum already committed. Those fouls greatly favor the QB in an unfair way.
