Met is not the best explanation, had the displeasure of him invalidating a deal in writing from one of his internet sales people and wanted 4K more for same car. Sales person said it was because it was popular model, feature set and color no proof of that per DMV. We did not spend 300 seconds talking to him, he said his thing we said but it's here in writing please honor it, he laughed at us, she blew up and I asked her to follow me out of the shit hole that is HOI. We called the broker he set it up at Laguna Niguel for the following day. 5 days later the GM of HOI calls and ask to earn our business, I called him back told him the story and to shove HOI up his ass and reported him to the DMV. Never heard another word until you posted his picture BBQing at an apartment in NB and I laughed. End of story and encounter with him. But I will remember him and make sure I tell everyone I know about HOI and he and to never ever buy a vehicle from him or thru him. What people knowingly do with the info is their problem.

Funny how somethings never change in OT or ONE person in particular.

Unfortunately most of the OGs are gone to comment on this thread. They would've had a field day in here. New group of OT leg humpers feed into this behavior begins again

This was one of my favorite. Spent good 2hrs reading this, instead of mowing my lawn.....

http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1129629

few highlights
-f8x owner posted Genny vs M4 video. That was probably funniest of the day.
-5 f8x owner went to Genny forum and bashed the Genny member DRS there for claiming he crushed M4 w/ his Genesis while racing, and M4 sounding like UPS truck.

I think Genny mods were really nice there.

It's like ok, I know that. I get it. But that's why I like talking cars with my fellow 6ers because they're not constantly trying to one up the next person. We just love and appreciate what we personally own and frankly don't care too much about the next. The one exception I had was when I did race a gtr who kept bugging me in my old m6. I don't like that Godzilla...
What you guys missed was the real genius of that thread.

Having (god help me) read the original genesis owners forum thread and now (god help me even more) this thread, I suggested (and received firm agreement from Lups ) that the dude that claimed to smoke the M4 when he hit the "Genny Zone" is basically the perfect man for Sara.

Really. Read his shit. Match. Made. In. Heaven.

Wont even need to worry about open bar, we'll just bring our own booze and get all kinds of shitfaced before the ceremony is even done.

Either fabricated or OP or OP's date is twisting things to make it real. Either way, it is a soap opera.

Also, comments towards OP or OP's reply tells us who is the noob.
We are so numbed that we ran out of constructive advice.

Unsubscribed. :

Sorry. I am one of those guys. I don't care the car costs $1000 or $300,000+
I want my oil change to cost $20+materials. lol
With that said, I spend good time trying to find how easy/hard the DIY mantinance on GT3 911T S , and even MP4-12c. Surprising that some McLaren Life members are doing DIY oil change on their 560s and MP4/12c.

BTW, there is a BMW forum member who does DIY Porsche GT3 oil change on YouTube. Very educating.

I think I complimented you on my 2nd month being a member here for how little you spent on wedding, and surprised how your "wife" let you get away with small wedding.

Yeah, I know you are the wife, you told me.

I was in a cars and coffee sitting next to a table to some Ferrari blokes who kept talking about some parts for their cars. I couldn't stop laughing because the girls in the table were openly googling their worth.

I know this all seems hypocritical coming from me, you probably think my biggest worry in the world is how to spend the money the hubby makes but when we started our lives together, we had absolutely nothing. Our flat was tiny, we made extra payments for it to get ahead, we learned how to renovate, my interest in restorations and antiques was born from the sheer need for cheap stuff.

Sure, now we are all grown up. He's made great leaps in his career, my dead daddy didn't hurt us financially, but we both know we made it all together. He doesn't bitch about me bringing home extra mouths to feed and I don't mind him taking off for weeks for work.

I still keep a tight watch over money, I consider spending it on stuff stupid, and the finer things in life for me is time. I get to cook with the kids, roll on a couch reading a book in my yoga pants and I don't have to think for one second my world would collapse if he dumped me tomorrow.

It felt good to write the first check I've ever made to buy my car. It feels great to know my coffee table has seen 200 years of life and that because of the few hours i put into the project it'll see an other hundred easily.

I'm very well aware Sara and I come from different universes. I'm also aware none of the men in my life would've traded me for her.

Right? Right?

I'll bet (if you ask him) he hits all 13 points of the list that Sara begged this thread to pull out of her.

Lol my skills. I forgot to mention it was the wedding gift, the machine.

Yes, I'm aware F8x generation is not very well presented in the ot, but we do sometimes pick up stuff from here for our personal amusement. We did a good job with this one, I'd say.

You are the funniest man I know myz. Hell, i bet we could take one of these beasts as our limo to the wedding!

I just checked his profile, and he is in IN. I think it is totally doable couple.

First date: For 1st hr, Sara talks about her autobiography about her dates.
2nd hr, DRS@Genny talks about how he can beat BMW M4 anytime with his 5.0L Rspec Genny or even with UPS truck.

2nd date: 1st hr, sara talks about how Dbag all her dates were, but how glorifying attorney makes money.
2nd hr, DRS talks about how he beat a Formula 1 car at 1/4mile with genesis.

3rd date:TBD

I'll further that comment - if someone were to "accidentally" drop this thread link on their "Genny Zone" conversation...I believe that half that thread would create accounts just to comment here

INGENIOUS plan to find Sara a suitable life partner

Tell your husband that he is a lucky man.
100EUR wedding? That is my dream wedding!

I spent about $xxk, and it was consider very conservative.

As for F8x M3/4, i am sure people will open up. I've heard it took a while for e46M owners to open up to E9x M3. There is no doubt F8x is a much better performer than E9x for sure. I am just trying to open up to the BMW M's (even MB-AMGs) having a turbo. My mind is weird that Turbo= perfect marriage for Japanese cars.
