That seems like a shockingly high amount of money.

No, I haven't.

I would have kept the Pella appointment just to see how much. I'm in shock.

that doesnt sound right.. is that just cost of windows? If so way too expensive for fiberglass.. i bought Pella back in 2018 when they first released their architectural line (aluminum clad) some 40+ windows, about 5 exterior grade glass doors, huge la cantina bipanel folding door and two huge sliders for about 75.. granted that was on a wholesale account.. even if we factor in today's supply chain issues etc your number still seems high.. def bid around and get few companies to come out and quote.

I bought this as the first purchase for my home when I purchased it in December. It’s about July, and my order was canceled by the vendor - pending a revised version.

Anyone else into Kinetic art? Any suggestions on where to look?

Might this have anything to do w/ inflated pricing from the pandemic (e.g. taking advantage of lots of people having work done or shortages in material)?

So if I may ask, how much does that pre-fab cost? I've always thought about getting one but myself doing all the excavation/plumbing.

Getting my garage/Bedroom re-done. The prior owner did not prime the cedar shingles properly.

Ours is a 16' ModPool which had a starting price of $16,500 when we ordered it Sept 2020. We added almost every available option though (spa seating w/jets, gas heater, electric cover, UV sanitation, automatic chemical management) plus shipping, so ours came out to just over $34,000.

However it appears that prices have been increased significantly since then, most likely due to the shipping container shortage. The base price of our ModPool is now $26,000!

I've tried a few brands and styles of solar landscape lights, but they just don't last. They all start to dim after one year and the rechargeable batteries crap out. Maybe someone has used a certain brand and had better luck. My recommendation is to spend the extra $$ and go with a low voltage lighting setup.

I'm cheap, so I bought this dinning set off some guy who had bought it in an estate sale. It was painted some horrible colors. All the chairs were different colors, green, red, yellow. Anyways it's a a decent set and it's all solid wood so I have been working on making it look not so hideous. Not looking forward to doing the table...
