Been debating the suction type rack. Any issues with the paint under? or do you have it on the sunroof?

I used a Seasucker briefly, I always kept the surface super clean when securing it to a body panel, if you're hyper diligent I'm sure it's okay. In my typical lazy fashion though, I did get tired of attaching it over and over again.

I might get out for a ride today as well. Warm and sunny. Just need to find the time.

Getting close in my area. Weekends need to be as nice as the weekdays! Still time for a few blizzards and a temp drop near 0F.

Finally got out for a ride today. Just 11 miles, though. Nasty headwind and I'm sadly more out of shape than I had thought, despite riding the trainer all winter.

Thanks for the link over here.
Love that Bianchi build it looks stunning, also the F spec is perfect and really shows off the frame changes from the f12 in that colour.
Have you got a ride in yet on the F?

Still no ride yet. Just as the rain started to ease my family was hit with COVID. 4 out of the 5 of us have it so we are currently in isolation until next week.

That's not good regarding the family.
Hope you all recover quickly and the symptoms are mild.

Thank you for your concern. Whole family seems to have mild symptoms except for me. Ironically I'm the fittest in the family. Razor blades in the throat, cold shivers, migraines and body aches ATM. Hopefully I'm at the peak so symptoms should start subsiding🤞🏽

I think it's gonna be a few weeks off the bike just getting my fitness back up. I've had friends take months getting back up to fitness.

Sounds like you have it bad. Luckily I've not had Covid yet so not sure about recovery times. I had the flu a few years ago, at the time my fitness was high and I always remember the first few weeks being tough when I got back on the bike. Mostly I was frustrated because even the quick after work loops I could power through were tough. On a positive note, it's probably ideal for you on the new bike as far as you'll take it easy and ramp it up as you get used to it. I've done day rides up to 360k on the F12, for an all out race machine it was very comfortable.
Minds me of the car a bit, best of both worlds.

360k

It's amazing you have the time. I struggle to get a 100km ride in on a Sunday. Too many family commitments.

Regarding the ride, your assessment correlates with what I've been told. It will be interesting to see how it fairs against the Bianchi which is a thoroughbred.

Had to copy your bike/car photo, clearly you were on to something there 😎
Luckily I'm just heading out, the weathers amazing over here in Scotland today.
You'll love the bike with these wheels, very responsive and fast.

That glass door must weigh a ton! (Or tonne, in your case.)

It looks like a sliding door in one pic and a one piece swinging door ion the other.

Query: For tubeless ROAD wheels-- Stan's or Orange Seal?

I've been running Orange Seal in my MTB's for years and have been happy, but my local shop convinced me to go Stan's on my ROAD bikes. I've had limited success with Stan's in the past, but I caved.

But, it seems that the fluid doesn't seal that great, and dries out quickly. And since I'm only home 10 days a moth, that's kind of a pisser for me.

Changing over is a freakin' mess for obvious reasons, but I'm interested in hearing what other peeps are doing.

TIA--

R.

It's heavy indeed. The garage isn't long built, still finishing it off but the doors were a must when I built it, so I can see the car 😊

I agree. We are both lucky to have these things, I never take any of them for-granted.

Cheers (and update us with your first thoughts when your finally able to ride that bike)

Do the two pics show different doors? I'm not getting the slider in one pic and the big glass swinging door in the other. Did you replace the slider with the swinging door?

Lol, I had to look at the pictures and I can see how it's confusing you. They are 3 panel bi-folds, but in first picture it looks like a sliding door because one is opened against another.
Hope that makes sense ?
