It was static introduction of both cars and we could walk arround and sit in X3 but not in BMW5 for some kind of unknown reason.

COLOR: MATT SILVER with black parts. Car looks much better from front than current 5 series. Hood is similar like bmw g80 with dent through but not so prominent, maybe due the color choice? but carbon roof was sick, with very noticable dent from far away.. You could see that car is a rocket even before they put the sheet away from it since it was sitting nicely over that roofline..

Lights are identical as with i5.. but front bumper is much wider and gives a good stance.. grill is the same as with i5 m60.. bumper has two steps arround lights.. much better solved than current car.. i think regular car will have this solved in facelift for sure.. bottom grill is similar like a new X3 with some carbon design package as you could have G80 or G82. looks great.. i have a feeling that front grill hugs lights like BMW E92 M3.. very nostalgic feel.. REAR end is the best... very beast, like leaked photos but much more. RS6 looks like a girl end if you compare to this beast.. side view has a side grill but its disappointing with flat same doors as current bmw 5 series.. then other parts look like aftermarket.. but its much more agressive than old bmw m5.. quite nice... engine is same as bmw xm.. interior nothing spectacular.. no carbon seats on this car.. looks like xm.. x3 is bigger suprise.. i think x3m will be better choice..

M5 side vents at the bottom of fender? Because at the regular place, there's plug in cap this time. And interesting to hear about "aftermarket" parts, because somehow new gen 5 series gives overall cheap feeling comparing to G30 or even F10. Tested i5 M60 while ago.

That's what normal people call a BEV, or an electric car... I think tech is just not there for this cycle, BMW spared the M5 and will do this to the iX3M/iX4M as it looks like.

Tech is there. BMW was worried about getting ahead of the ///M audience with too much change at once.

And they should be. No one. No real enthusiast I know wants a battery powered high performance car like this. Or any other real sports car. I know most here feel the same.

I'm a poser enthusiast and I am enjoying the hell out of my S Plaid. It's predecessor was a 2020 M5.

That’s fine but I know two things. One you are a very small minority. Two. You’ll get bored of it sooner than later. Beyond its fast 0/60 time is a lifeless boring not very well made car. Just saying sorry.

Agree that the M5 market is not likely ready for a BEV M5. I plan to get another S Plaid when my lease is up.
