I’m pretty anxious so see his S65 build. Seeing him build engines from hundreds of parts always amazes me.

He used to work in IT but quit about a year ago to do this full time. Makes enough off sponsorships and views

The car was bought at auction, repaired, then re-titled with a rebuilt salvage title. Suspension damage, along with everything else was fixed by whoever had the car re-titled before Sreten bought it.

yeah but i was curious to see if they did a good job repairing it, used OEM parts or not... the video made it seem like he didn't even care to inspect the work that originally salvaged the car, you don't think that's important? it had to have been significant amount of damage to total out a M3.

There will be plenty more content. You can be sure he'll go over all of it

It's a numbers game for the insurance company, if they got a high salvage bid on the car (likely) and they can keep the customer happy by making it 'go away', they'll do it even if the amount of damage appraised doesn't necessarily meet or exceed any type of total loss threshold that particular insurance company uses. Whoever fixed it went as far as to pay the bucks for an OEM comp wheel, can't imagine they cut any other corners but I'm sure we'll find out in the next video he posts up.

Correct, he doesn't care to inspect it. He knows that whatever it is will be a case of replacing parts that he's planning to replace regardless...minus other surprises which will be similarly trivial in the grand scheme of things. He bought the car knowing that the engine was toast, so some beaten up bits of suspension won't even be a blip on his radar right now

Ya,. Brought back memories of how excited I was about BMW in my early 30's.

TBH I'm a little jealous that he has been able to create a revenue stream which supports his hobby.

Patreon, YT revenue, and payola viar equipment/tools.

The tool set and lifts are fairly new (9 months).

He mentioned that he's going to get under the car in the next episode. His channel is all about reconditioning BMW's.

yeah i've been watching his channel for a while now, since project raleigh. was just commenting how i was more interested in the repaired damage that totaled out the car, than trying to turn over a seized engine lol.

Lol. I'm too old, married, and don't have his personality. Funny you mentioned it though because I think the space is getting crowded. Quiet a few channels of people restoring broken BMW's.

M5239 Restorations is just so much more entertaining.

Hadn’t heard of the channel, but just watched all of the E60 M5 playlist over the past few days.

I want a V10 now.

Came across this channel lately myself he is great. I think he has real talent with editing and wrenching alike.

He deserves the success, he is a perfect fit for this channel and totally relatable.

Be careful, it can be very expensive watching his videos!

It's a great channel! I don't know where he gets the money to own all the great cars. It's also very good information on problems with certain models.
