I'd say it's more of a gussied up 6something. Maybe 70% 6, 30% 8

That’s really splitting hairs. 6 and 8 aren’t that different from one another.

To my eyes, everything behind the seats is a horror show. Front is okay though.

This is what BMW put in production more than 30 years back, really, I'am not joking!

I agree they aren't, but to me this looks like a mixture of the 2 with more outdated 6 design influence than 8.

Make it with a 3.5L in-line 6 and a manual transmission and I'd buy one. And please, no TV screen.
And where would they get a 3.5L inline 6?

The newer 6's and 8's are basically the same car.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

M44 Z3's had a single oval exhaust exit.

Well, not many on here are an old codger, original owner a 27-year-old BMW.

My dad has owned one (Z3) since 2000. He’s the second owner. I think it’s a ‘98 model. Has about 60k miles I think, maybe less. I think he should buy a final year Z4 with a manual to go with it, but he won’t. haha

They said, let's get rid of the Hofmeister Kink, the Zicker Line, the classic BMW rear light design (and sub it for Lexus), the angel eyes (and the hexagon angels), the kidney grills, the integrated 4 exhausts, the hidden muffler, a fluid design, etc. Then they said let's have sex with a bucktooth beaver for fun. And viola, your new 4 series. Enjoy."

Folks, my sincere apologies to beavers. I was mistaken when I compared them to the new 4 and iX. Beavers do, in fact, look better than the 4 and iX both before, during, and after copulation. So beavers, you have my respect and admiration.

What I should have compared the new 4 and iX to are rabbits. Yes rabbits, those seemingly cute and cuddly little fur balls. Well, they are not so cute when they are enjoying themselves.

Once you see this comparison, you can never un-see it. Hey, don't blame me, I didn't design the masterpiece new 4 or iX or the rabbit's orgasmic face.

I like it with the understanding I would never want to (or could possibly) afford it’s undoubtedly massive MSRP. The fact this BMW is marketed in a “rose gold…?”, communicates it will be rare and in the price category of a Bentley. I would like to see it in a different color. Mabel the M5 CS color scheme.
