haha...on second thought, I do see at least one brotha in that first pic.

However, he looks more out of place than a woman who left the kitchen.

If we're talking favorite burgers there is a world famous place about 3 mins from my house called CS's which would have to get my vote. Another place in Como a few hours north of here is called Windy City Grille which I love too.

Specialty of CS's, the chili cheese "Inez burger" (Ms Inez still works there, has been for decades and often serves me lunch when I eat there):

If we are talking fast food then I agree with Litos that Whataburger country gravy is hard to beat.

Not sure if you mean the south or the east coast but they're all over the south.

They have two of them here in Austin. Hopdoddy is the most overhyped hamburger place I've ever had the displeasure of eating. The line is full of lemming hipsters that would eat cardboard if Eater wrote an article about it. The burgers are *nothing* special. Frankly, the ones I ate were bland to say the least. Never again.

Yup, looking at a map there are relatively few west of Texas. Apparently they are working on bolstering their SoCal foothold right now.

Only things that should be on a burger are meat, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and some sauce.

Holy crap! and I thought SoCal had a lot of locations.

One of the few fast food franchises I know that is closed on Sundays.

Ever since I moved south, I can't get enough of Cook Out shakes.

This small town doesn't have much, but I can rely on it for a shake today.

That's where I always went when I was in college, best burgers I've ever had. I wonder if their new location takes away from the experience though.
