I'm pleased with the progress this thread has made. I mean, the bar was set very low, anything would be an improvement from the first page, but still...I'm pleased.

Here's a legit question:

Is there something more exciting or in some way better when you have a conversation in bed (with your partner) as opposed to having that exact same conversation when you were both awake (and say, sitting on the couch)?

Because it drives me nuts - we'll sit there, watch some TV, maybe chat a little, but then, when all I want to do is sleep, that's when she wants to have discussions about the day, and all this other stuff. Now I just mentally schedule off the first 10-15 minutes.

Is this common?
