You have to force close the app and then reopen it. To be safe, I also hard rebooted my phone in the middle too

I’m new to the app, went through the features. There is a lot to like however I expected to be able to close the windows/sunroof remotely in addition to locking it. Am I missing something?

Additionally it would be nice to be able to set an alarm that notifies me when it’s not closed/locked up after some user defined period.

Darn, I saw this to late. I deleted the app and loaded it again. Now it won't let me sign in. Ugh.

Can confirm it also doesn't work on a stock android phone (pixel 5).
I don't think android has another browser option so not sure how I'm going to get around this. Glad I paid for remote start that I can't use.

If you are in key range. I believe three hits of the BMW logo will initiate remote start. No need for the app. Either three hits or three hits and hold.

Haha, the car randomly started yesterday and I couldn't figure out why, now I know.

I did get the workaround to work to install MyBMW (downloaded firefox). I logged into the app in the car and it sort of works. However, it doesn't seem to sync correctly. When I pull up the app the last sync time I see is always the last time I had the app up while the car was running. And the remote doors and start don't seem to work. Any suggestions?

Today’s update of the app shows charging history for US!

What total charge kWh people are getting in the US when charging from nearly empty battery? I just did one charge session after charging history got enabled in the My BMW app in the US. The initial battery charge was 3% and it shows only 19 kWh used to charge to 100%. I am expecting to see something close to 24 kWh.

I am getting 23 kWh charging 3 - 100 % in Europe. So in the US 19-20 kWh should be correct

Hello. I just downloaded the new My BMW app. The first thing I saw is that there is no status information anymore, at least not for me. I`m located in France and as far as I can find on the internet, there is a disclaimer that some functions wont be available in certain countries. The thing is the old app had some info like remaining fuel and if the doors/windows wear open/closed. Anyone has any idea why I lost this functions? I've attached a screenshot of what I can see currently.

This is what my app shows in Belgium . And I can scroll left and right for total range and range on fuel.

I tried to remote camera today but it didn't work because I am in Austria now. This is one of the functions that isn't allowed here.

I don't see why the info you are looking for would not be available in France.

Lovely. As BMW has refused to provide any way to fix their cars with 3G, all this stuff goes away us for us with 3G NBT cars on Feb 2022. Puts us back 15 years technology wise. Yes, a 5-7 year old BMW becomes like a 2004 at the dawn of Navis. [insert twirling finger]

This app claims to have traffic information but it does does not alert you or transfer it to the Navi with any of the available connections. You know, something useful. Nope. Useless for all the NBT toting BMWs after Feb 2022.

Managed to solve the issue for Andriod though.
Perform the following steps:

Remove the old BMW app and install and configure My BMW.
Update/Install latest Spotify.
Then install the 1.3 version of AndroidAutoIdrive.
