So you're going to keep the money AND the parts? Until when?Currently you have both.

It would be best for you to pay for what you say you have now and send the rest of the money later if the other parts are found. Right now it looks like you're trying to find a reason to keep everything.

I actually feel bad for the kid because he learned everything from his immature dad. He will grow up and do the same thing to someone else. And his behavior will be passed on to the next generation. I hope I never encounter someone like this.

An incomplete package of parts is effectively worthless for what I was planning to use them for.
To replace the missing parts will cost about $725. (rear caliper $325, front pads $200, rear pads $150, 2 bolts and 2 pins $50).
I paid $1000 for all the parts. You can do the math.

OP, I was scammed in similar fashion once. It is clear that Cobra Marty is not going to do the right thing, and he is ignoring resonable requests to provide proof to his case.

What worked for me was calling the local police. You know his address, so get in contact with the local authorities in his area. The biggest mistake he made was scamming you using USPS - this is considered mail fraud, which is a felony believe it or not. You can file a USPS/Mail Fraud claim and they will assign investigators to the case that are a lot better than Paypal, and the consequences will be extremely severe for whoever is not telling the truth. These guys do NOT play around.

I kept putting pressure on the guy who scammed me and I eventually got all my computer parts back.

Here is a good place to get started:

Update:

I'm writing you all this to let you know the Pasqualone family has successfully beat the system. They got what they wanted, test out a brake kit they were unsure would fit and knowing paypal wont do anything for them unless they made up a story.

They were granted a refund in the event they return the exact same item back to me as it was shipped on my behalf.

What gets me is that he is getting a refund for NOT SHIPPING back what I sent. So he us using the system and won. This is sad how some people have to succeed in life. They still can't address the following post I posted.

This doesn't add up! Check the weights I clearly posted on the 1st page of the receipt. Look up the weights by part number at your dealership and you'll clearly see that everything adds up to what I sent. It was also stated by the source that NO OTHER material was sent to add up fictitious weight. Please explain this..

Seriously, contact a USPS mail fraud inspector. I guarantee you you will win.

I'm not taking sides in this mess but the posting of personal information has to stop. Any offending posts have been deleted.

Seems like PayPal has rendered judgment - right or wrong.

Time to close this thread?

Respectfully, can you please allow this to be open so I can wait to receive the package(s) sent from the buyer? I'd like to make sure I maintain credibility with this forum and would like to simply post the results of the weight and contents of the package(s) I receive back.

Thank you for deleting any negative comments and offending posts. That is not my intent.

Justin

Yes, please delete the others if there are any. My internet was acting up and may have created dups.

Actually, it's worse than just a simple felony. If fraud was conducted via USPS, it's considered a FEDERAL offense. And the Feds don't mess around.

The most probable scenario is USPS discovered a damaged package with no apparent missing contents. They repaired the package and sent it on its way. The parts are now somewhere in some USPS "lost and found" pile.

It aint rocket surgery.

I've had mail damaged in transit via USPS. The damaged letter was put into a bigger envelope with a note inside informing me about the damage (no duh) and that they were sorry.

I would expect if a postal worker found the box had been damaged or opened during transit, it would be resealed and a note attached informing the receiver as such.

I think you're giving USPS workers too much credit.
They can't be bothered to even answer the phone at the post office. At least here, they are lazy entitled pieces of shit

ATTN . To everyone on the fourms - I apologize for this whole ordeal. It was all settled and we're both on the same page. We have to agree what ever happened with the missing parts was during transit and not deliberate on either parties.

It was brought to my attention that there have been lurkers outside of the Families residence. PLEASE make it known, you can and will get in trouble if you continue. PLEASE do not post any negative or personal information.

I apologize to the family for any headache or scares they may have experienced.

Please make it be known this whole thing is finished and we came to a mutual agreement.

Justin
