Yes, they did a great job. Minimal damage thankfully as they fell slowly as the saturated soil gave way. One small puncture about 3-4 inches in diameter. Been no rain since the storm so we got lucky.

It’s downtown and on third floor so it’s fine. No water service there, but we’re not in Asheville and don’t plan to be there until at least spring after this storm. Anywhere in the city near the rivers is a disaster zone unfortunately.

Understood. Lived that dream in Katrina, had eight feet of water in our house, a total loss. Going to be a long recovery for Asheville but it will come back.

My plastic one has fallen apart. Had a good run for several years, but saw this tempered glass one for maybe $30 or so more than the replacement plastic. I opted for 46x55. Supposed to be delivered in the upcoming days.

Picked up a new daily/"beater car". 2007 Honda Accord EX-L V6. 121k miles on the clock. In decent shape other than the normal Honda rust which I might get fixed. Not 100% sure on that yet
