Don't sleep on the above Don Pancho I posted!
And also seek out the other exquisite rum I posted previously. Variety is the spice of life!

So do I, but the pineapple goes well with ice and if you can get some fresh pineapple chunks (and you're at home where no one will laugh at you), drop some in and let them soak.

There is no shame in dropping fruit in your glass. I've been experimenting with mint/blackberries picked from my yard in my Old Fashioned.

Thumbs up

HAPPY 4th everyone! Drink well and be Safe.

So I have been partying quite a bit since Friday! My lovely wife's Birthday is today. But we celebrated it with 2 parties: Friday night out salsa dancing and then Saturday at our House Party. Guess who was on bartender duty?
The "Mixologist" himself...

In the process of pouring Don Julio shots!

Also, tried The Crown Royal Hand Selected Barrell (Texas specific) VERY tasty I must say!

Happy Birthday to your wife. Hope she sees many, many more.

I'll be enjoying some Woodford Reserve tonight. Really liking this lately.

I've taken a liking to Ardbeg lately. Not really my wheelhouse as it is more peaty, but there is something special about it that I really enjoy.

Wife and daughter just flew down to Atlanta to catch the Metallica/Avenge Sevenfold concert...leaving me in my bachelor hood.

Bought a bottle of The Singleton of Glendullan 15 and a Punch.

I love the Islay's, and Ardbeg is one of my regulars I buy by the case (Laphroaig is my true fav, but peatier than the Ardbeg). The Corryvreckan is probably my favorite Ardbeg, a bit smoother and a little more mature than the 10yo. Bruichladdich is also really nice, and some are un-peated.

Grabbed the Clyde Mays today. It'll have to wait until I'm off the rum kick, though. Also grabbed the usual Plantation 20 and Plantation Pineapple.
