Btw, to the cost of kids: My main thing about spending as little as possible is the sheer amount of waste per kid. I rather spend days out with them than sit in the house full of crap. Kids are doing both Finnish and American school work, and putting them to a private school is a free option for us, but I didn't take it.

I just prefer getting better and more durable things than getting a lot of them and I try teach them to appreciate what they have. Same goes for myself also.
