What do you think of the Cabo Wabo tequila's? I'm a van Halen fan but feel free to be brutally honest!

I like Van Halen too.

Cabo Wabo is decent as a mixer Tequila. Straight, not so much.

Well lookie what I got for my birthday present! It was nowhere to be found in my area, so my nephew located the last bottle somewhere near him, and brought it to my party as a gift. It is delicious...

Always be gentle undressing a lady...

As promised... I have acquired what is unquestionably the most amazing Tequila I have EVER tasted! CLASE AZUL REPOSADO.

Where do I begin? The handmade large ceramic bottle is literally a work of hand-painted art. But what is inside is unlike any tequila I have ever tasted! Ultra smooth but with flavors never tasted in a tequila. Absolutely must be sipped. The nose is definite Agave but with hints of vanilla and tropical fruit. On the palate: fruit and slight pepper with a sweet finish. F****** amazing!

Bought some Knob Creek Bourbon and Union Horse Rye. My friends got into the bourbon last weekend and I stuck with the Rye. Nothing amazing, but amazing stuff usually results in a hangover.

I also bought an Audi S6, can I still hang out here? ;-P

I would say NO because you chose to drive an Audi.

On the other hand though, you say you drive an S6, but your avatar says you have an A6. Which makes you a pathological liar. Which means you'll fit in just fine here.

Carry on.

Hahah! I used to have an A6, and an M3 before that. Now I have no car because I'm waiting on the S6 to arrive. The other leading contender was an F80/82, but decided against it for the time being. I was back and forth for a long time.

I'll correct my avatar immediately to reflect the current situation.

Just saw this thread, didnt bother to read all 67 pages but if you guys havent tried the Costco Kirkland brand Spiced rum, give it a shot.....but be careful. Its 92 proofand seems more than that. I was used to drinking Jack, and had my usual number of nightcaps and ended up blacking out and pissing on my sons carpet. No recollection of said event. Tried to blame it on the dog but wife witnessed it. When asked why she didnt stop me she became uncharacteristically quiet. At least now I know how to get her quiet.

BTW its 15$ a bottle (1.75L) and delicious.

Beware and enjoy

Decisions......

This is my Whisk(e)y Room, still a work in progress. I need a few more shelves as the collection is growing, and spreading into Rum's Bourbon's, Irish and Canadians. The room's also going to hold the wine collection which is well underway, my humidor's and a gun safe.....I think we might call the room Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms.
