I love the GMT Master II

It's definitely a Rolex, but its not just another Submariner out there. Also, being able to tell up to 3 timezones is pretty cool. It's a simple watch, but with innovative 'complexity'

If you're going to go big and want the GMT check out the new Sky Dweller, just introduced at Basel last week. Its big and has a big price tag to match!

what are people saying about the sky dweller on the rolex forums?

I think it could have been done more tastefully then what it is, but then again, I get lost when it comes to Rolex. I do like the new Explorer II however (which some people are not liking because it's too much of a departure)

I love the new 9001 calibre but the looks not so much. And it only comes in yellow white and pink gold(plus leather strap) . I'm more into the steel sportmodels Sub/DS/GMT/Ex stuff.

Anyway, I got this one last week. Ref 3233, a crappy wristshot outside:

Nice. Great selection! I think we've met up on WUS, right? I don't really frequent that site much anymore.
I never expected to get into the SA (same as yours, put it on a black croco!), but I've had it for 3.5 years and it's still one of my favorite.

lol

WUS is a pretty good forum, but I think they divided it up into too many sub forums.

if you have multiple brands it's like a maze trying to locate others with similar watches to post with.

Yes we did. Even Spyderco10 frequents WUS, or at least he did. My Brietling sat on the winder for months at a time because like many people, I bought the biggest bad boy I could get as my first nice watch, only to realize that that sucker is heavy compaired to everything else I bought since. I just recently put a black croco with red stitching on it and now it isn't so heavy and blingy as it was with the bracelet (all my watches, except one of my Seiko's, are all mounted on straps). The SA now gets a lot of wrist time.

Don't know Spyderco. I was originally going to buy the Navi World, but the SA just caught my eye and wouldn't let go. However, my motivation wasn't as you described above, getting the biggest bad boy. I was really pulled in by the face and batons vice numbers. I don't even notice the heft and I have it back on a steel bracelet.

Only two for me, clearly others are ballin in a different level than myself...

Rolex GMT - Master II that needs to be polished. Owned for a little over a year, love it.

Tag F1 that I have a rubber strap on. I LOVE this watch. Parents gave it to me a long time ago. Used to have the metal strap that I switched out and I find myself wearing it just as much if not more than the Rolex.

Anyone know where I can maybe get a leather/aligator strap for my GMT? Been toying with this idea...

Tim's Panerai is a PAM 000 or the Zero for nickname. It is the quintessential Panerai and most Panerai collectors will always have one in their collection. It's the only watch in Panerai's line up with the most roots or DNA if you will to the watches that made Panerai a success to begin with.

which one is yours?
The sandwhich dial is a great looking watch for its depth, but the painted dial like yours and my Zero actually have better lume. Side by side the painted dial will shine brighter for longer. It's the way they apply the lume which makes it brighter.

BTW, Reed's watch is a PAM 24 or 25. Can't tell by the pic if it's steel or titanium.

My PAM 000... Can't get enough of this watch. Nor can i stop buying straps for it. Modding the PAM is as addictive as modding the car!
