I didn't even notice that, but you are SOOOO right. That wide spread between the eyes makes her vaguely... weird. What has been seen cannot be unseen.

They used to be gone forever, but I've seen multiple that have shown up 3-4 times, now.

I rationalized that to be they either swiped right for you and Tinder is increasing their probability to trick you into swiping right a second time with another jowl-concealing chin angle photo.
