Here's my build below, just under $130k definitely too rich for my blood right now haha. Lease payments are looking insane on it, more than the mortgage on my house lol.

But if I was to buy a new G90 this is how I would spec/build it. For now Im just gonna wait for a decent Imola Red, or Motegi Red F90 Comp to hit the used market for a decent price lol

The money on standard BMW leases has held steady between 0.00180-0.00220 so about 4.3% - 5.2% , less than if you finance. When the F90 was released they had very low residuals at first, around 50% for 10K, when I leased my 2019 M5 they had it at 57%. If you want to be one of the first you will probably pay full MSRP and probably have to deal with a low residual unless the M5 sells like the XM which currently has a $17,500 lease rebate & most dealers will discount them 10% off msrp.

That’s right. I’m guessing the residual hasn’t been determined. Also guessing the MF will be the equivalent of the financing rate, which is just under 4%.

I don’t lease unless the money factor is low because you are effectively paying interest on the entire value of the car. And I don’t have a business to write off the lease against.

The CCB has been added to the US configurator as I have just noticed right now. Also, unless something is off, it shows a 3.34 APR for a 60-month finance. The lease calculator is still off though.

M3 is at 5.59%. Here’s my guess: lease is $2000/mo for 10/36 and $3500 down.

I note the US Configurator has a ‘Acc Stop /Go Assist’ as an option alongside ‘Driver Assist Pro’.
I would have thought Driver Pro would include Stop/Go??
Can anyone advise whether It does or not as I’m selecting Driver Pro in Europe but Stop/Go is not an option and my region’s configurator does not specify exactly what’s included in the pack.

Standard color choices are boring. Definitely need individual color.
You must have carbon brakes on that to get to $136 in US? Pointless IMO (but to each, their own).

Driver Professional includes Highway Assist AFAIK.

All I’ve ever read is that carbon brakes make far more noise than compound.

Does anyone know whether Driver Assistant Pro (5AU) on the G90 works above 40MPH /65KMH?

There seems to be some doubt about it and I’m not sure if it’s limited by regs country to country?

Some content says it’s autonomous up to 40 but it’s unclear what happens after that?

I found this which seems to indicate it works into big speeds:

Does any of the assisted driving options change the way the front grills look on the car? I can't seem to see any difference from the online configurator.

Well, it looks like the Fed in the USA will lower interest rates, so I am going to wait on this car and lease or fiance in the second year of production or maybe the LCI when I can get a much better deal. In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy my 2022 M5.

I noticed that on bmwusa.com it shows the M5 with 3.34% apr for 60month financing. I haven't been keeping up with the rates but that sounds too good doesn't it? Error maybe?

Also notice the configurator has removed the 650.00 charge for paint. The FDG remains 1950.00. I wonder if removing the 650 is just an error for the moment.

False. The steel brakes on my F90 were the loudest, most horrible brakes I have ever encountered on any vehicle. They were so loud it was a complete embarrassment. Anyone that heard the car pull up would ask what was wrong with it.

By contrast, the carbon ceramics on my R8 are dead silent. And they make zero dust.

I'll never pass up carbon ceramics on any car that offers them from now on.

False. The steel brakes on both of my F90s were perfect. The CCB on my M4 squealed loudly.

Two F90’s as well …. one with steels, the other with CCB’s.

Steels created a ton of dust and made more noise then a school bus.

CCB’s zero noise or dust.

Two F10 M5’s … same story.

Both with steels and both with a ton of noise.

I will say that there are pads that can make the noise and dust much better with steels. EBC Red Stuff or Yellow Stuff are both solid options.

Configurator changed again. All but fdg paint is still at no cost, and now they've increased the cf trim from 200 to 500.

Doh - I see that now, from 1950 to 3600 for the FDG.

Saw it in person yesterday, overall looked pretty good in person, only nip picks is the rear diffuser looks a tad weird and it makes the exhaust tips look really small for some reason. Car looks massive in person.
