My step dad lives in Ellenton. He keeps asking me to come visit and we just haven't taken the time to do so. Sad, I know. Based on your pictures, it looks like I need to make a trip down there.

Ellenton is 2 exits from me. You NEED to visit. The Gulf area is so gorgeous. The Sunsets are 2nd to none and the dining scene is excellent as well. (Sorry for the black dots, my phone camera took a dump when I took these)

Great pics! I'm definitely going to start looking at some dates to visit. I will DM you before we go to get some restaurant recommendations. He's an old guy who goes to the same places. He's lived there for 8 years and the one place he is at once a week is Woody's. Don't know anything about it but it's a staple for him lol.

This was taken at Woody's. First week here we stopped in and I saw this beautiful creature. Wasnt paying attention and looked down to a GIANT Python that scared the poop out of me! Def hit me up, lots of good spots right around here. (no idea why it turned sideways)

Every single time that I've been to Ayer, the rain has fallen in biblical amounts. I have never seen rain fall so hard that the drops penetrated the nylon on my umbrella and kept on falling anywhere else. Fun conditions for running in my Quattro AWD, but *not* fun in an open-wheel A/C/F-mod car.....

I plan to fly RC airplanes in the morning, then sit on my ass the rest of day, drinking my favorite Chard and reading.

Rain all day tomorrow, so doing some house work and a ride on the trainer. Sunday looks good, so a longer ride outside.

Also breaking in the new car. It was a bitch trying to limit the mph's and rpm's to break in requirements. May have slipped up once or twice. God, this thing is capable and fun! And yes, that is a shit eatin' grin.

I'm just about to grab the box cutter and open the shipments of under-cabinet LED lights to replace our aging xenon puck lights.....

The under-cabinet LED lights have been mounted, and I plugged in the wires temporarily to use/test them. Should have done this upgrade a long time ago!

I still need to drill the cabinets and route the wires properly, but at least everything is mounted and ready for final trim-in.....

I want to thank those of you who pushed me to go away this past weekend. We had a room credit in Orlando from COVID lockdown. Got some long needed sun, some pool time, and lots of good food and drinks!

We are also making a conscious effort to get back out and start traveling locally and enjoying life again.

Thanks everyone
