No. That's an M Plate. Manufacturer's plates are always from the home state of the Manufacturer's HQ. That's why Ford, GM, Stallantis, and Nissan products have Michigan M plates.

I love the rest of the Z's design, so I'll take a sharp rectangular opening as a concession for the rest of the car looking as great as it does. Between my R8 and my STI I'll probably never buy one, but I'll definitely be excited to check it out and see them on the streets amid a sea of horrendous looking modern cars.
