Won ebay auction at 55.1K for GT-R, Honda of San Marcos refusing to honor

i know its not but it's not me harassing the dealership. I posted of what happen and posted updates to what is happening only.The members of the forums and outsiders were the ones who decided to "slander" the dealership.

I just read the link about the Charger, the dealership put in the description the following statement:

"This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction. "

The auction the OP won did not have this and since eBay state's that vehicle and real estate auctions are non-binding contracts then you can't really force the dealership to complete the sale. eBay non-binding rules link

The most you can do is to give them bad press, but you might want to be careful as saying the wrong thing could quite easily get you into trouble.

Just by telling people to go to a different forum for the link is detrimental to your cause and potential defense.

got update on eBay! basically they said the dealer is mess up for doing what they are and they will be getting a bad feedback and possible account closure. If I want to pursue this like the guy with BMW and Dodge I can go ahead and hopefully get the car. The guy from eBay motors said he saw this on reddit and wished me good luck on getting it.

I'm still shocked GTRs are going in the 50K range at all. Obviously I've never been in the market for one but still.
