What get's me almost every day;

You get to a light. There are two lanes. One lane clearly ends and has a sign stating so. So some dickwad thinks they can get in the lane next to me and beat me off the light to squeeze in and get in front of me. I mash the gas and put them in the bitch seat.

I love it when people try to do this to me. I make sure they don't get in front of me, but also have a hard time trying to get over.

YES! Not only do I put the pound hammer on the gas, but I like to watch the car behind me, then gradually slow down to close the gap, so the fucker has no chance of squeezing in anywhere.

I'm usually calm tempered (now that I'm a bit more mature anyway) but today, I couldn't stand for this any longer.

About 75% of the time, during my morning commute, I encounter this older woman (say early 40s) who drives a 2004-2007 Altima. This woman loves to drive, in opinion way too close to my bumper, whether in in my car, or on my bike. Two lane street, with moderate traffic moving about 30-40 MPH with traffic lights spaced every 1/4 mile or so.

If I'm on the bike, and I notice her close to my rear wheel, I would just split lanes for a little while until she is too far gone to catch up again. I recognize her car every time.

I dont like to cut people off when I'm in the car, so when I encounter her in this situation, I just block her from getting in front of me when she tries, and sometime she is successful in passing me, so I just let her go with a sense of, "I let her win"... and I hate that.

Today, I think my Y Chromosome took charge of my thought process, because when we got to a red traffic light right before the part of the street that goes from 2 lanes into 1, she tries to pass me on the right because we were sitting at the light neck and neck until it turned green, of course.

I am not a bully by nature, but it felt really good to hear my engine bark at her as I leave her in the dust. Up to the light this morning, she would try to ride my bumber (I'm not into that sort of thing) in the left lane of the two lane street, but I would casually increase the distance between her and I because traffic was really light this morning. But when we got to that light, and she pulled up on my right as if she was going to take me... well lets just say that my car is overly qualified to take down an old lady in an Altima.

Disclaimer: I know some people will say that my story "gets to them" because of the detail I went into, but I wanted to paint the picture of why I was basically a ticking time bomb that ran out of clock this morning.
