I was in either 4th or 5th grade the first time I saw him live. Maybe younger, the first time I saw him was the No More Tears tour, which back then he said it was his final tour.

Got to see to Alice In Chains (with Layne) open for Ozzy. How awesome is that for a 10-year old? Then we went and saw Metallica on the black album tour a few months later.

I owned an original Blizzard of Oz and Diary of a Madman and copied them both on a doubled cassette. I wore that cassette tape out playing it over and over. lol

I think I still have those albums around here somewhere. Will have to see if I can dig them up. They might be up in the attic. I've lost so many albums over the years.

You mentioned Randy Rhoads. As some others know here in the music thread, I am a big fan (there are many).

Last year I went to his gravesite in San Bernardino, which is not far from me. I took this pic, and had posted it here.

A great guitar player who is certainly missed. What a pair Ozzy and Randy were. He died way too young.
