We got a dusting. Not even an inch. Looks like the brunt of the storm missed us by a couple dozen miles, but that's ok by me.

You're looking at this all wrong. You have 2 hours to get your surfboard ready and get out to the beach.
But water temps are close to 60, I'd have to jiggle into a wetsuit.

Ain't nobody wants to see that first thing Saturday morning!

Or ever, to be honest.

Like me stuffing myself into my Lycra riding togs. You just don't want that image burned into your brain.

A new one would probably pay for itself in a year.

At least you have lots of colors and words to provide an opportunity to see something. Straight black, no distractions, there's the jig

I have wondered about this. The refrigerator freezer that's in my basement is probably close to 30 years old it was the previous owners.

I was just reading an article about the huge strides in energy efficiency of recent fridges. It's hard to quantify the energy use of a single appliance in your home, though. So it's tough to say with any precision just how quickly a device will pay for itself in energy costs. But you have to figure any fridge more than 15-20 years old isn't nearly as efficient as new ones.

The thing with fridges is that they tend to get reused anyway. Until they fail completely, they usually end up in a different part of your house or sold/given to someone else to use.

Cold! Followed by more cold with continuing cold. And then a nice winter storm

I walked 5km in a muscle shirt just before sundown. Last 3 blocks and water started to fall from sky. Just perfect perspiration to cool off at the end

Winter Weather Advisory for 2-4 inches of snow tonight into Monday.....

Snow was barely above the bumper but really soft... country roads were fun estimating where the road was.

We are a couple hours behind the NY folks up here, the storm was going north. It's still coming down pretty heavy and I didn't see a single plow.
